We appreciate your interest in our website. Protecting your personal data is important to us. Below we inform you, pursuant to Art. 13 GDPR, how we process personal data when you visit this website.

2. Hosting & Server Log Files

Our website is operated on the servers of a hosting provider with whom we have concluded a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). When you access our site, the following information is automatically processed in server log files:

  • IP address, date/time, time zone

  • requested URL/file, referrer URL

  • HTTP status code, amount of data transferred

  • browser, operating system, device type

Purpose: technical provision of the site, stability and security (e.g., defending attacks).
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests).
Storage period: log files are deleted on a regular schedule.

3. SSL/TLS Encryption

This website uses HTTPS/SSL to protect data transmissions.

4. Cookies & Consent Management (Complianz)

We use the cookie consent tool Complianz. On your first visit, you will see a notice allowing you to control the setting of non-essential cookies.

  • Essential cookies: technically necessary (e.g., to store your consent choice).
    Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR in conjunction with Section 25(2) TTDSG (German law).

  • Optional cookies/services (analytics/marketing, etc.) are only set after your consent.
    Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR in conjunction with Section 25(1) TTDSG.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future via the “Cookie settings” link/button on our site. Complianz logs consents (timestamp, decision) to meet the accountability requirement (Art. 7(1) GDPR).

Note: We currently do not use analytics or marketing tools. If this changes, we will update this section accordingly.

5. External Resources / Google Fonts

We do not load Google Fonts from external servers. Fonts are served locally or system-wide, so no connection to Google is made when fonts are loaded.

6. Contact (Contact Form / Email)

When you contact us, we process the data you provide (e.g., name, email address, message) to handle your inquiry.

  • Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual/contract communication) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to inquiries).

  • Recipients: internal processing; technical recipients may include our hosting provider and email service.

  • Storage period: until your request is fully processed; beyond that only if required by law or necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Spam protection: If simple anti-spam measures (e.g., honeypot fields) are used, no additional personal data is sent to third parties. (No Google reCAPTCHA in use.)

7. Processors (Data Processing Agreements)

We conclude data processing agreements under Art. 28 GDPR with service providers that process data on our behalf (e.g., hosting, maintenance).

8. Data Transfers to Third Countries

We do not transfer data to countries outside the EU/EEA and do not plan to do so.

9. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access (Art. 15 GDPR)

  • Rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)

  • Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)

  • Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)

  • Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)

  • Objection to processing based on Art. 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR)

If you have given consent, you may withdraw it at any time (Art. 7(3) GDPR).

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the EU member state of your residence or of the alleged infringement. 10. Obligation to Provide Data

You are not legally or contractually required to provide personal data. For certain functions (e.g., responding to your inquiry), providing contact details is necessary.
